Northpoint

Cosy place with 2 nursing rooms. The only drawback is you can't bring your stroller in with you. The place is quite cramp. There is hot water though for those who needs to make formula milk.

Animals, animals, animals

Venue: Singapore Zoological Gardens

Location: Mandai

Admission into the zoo is quite expensive therefore once you are there, you must explore the whole place. We actually spent an entire day there. Would have stayed longer if the rain did not come...

We did not manage to take the boat ride because the dark clouds were already warning us to get the hell out of there....

Periwinkle

This shop has the sweetest clothes. Their clothes are of pastel colours with flowers and sweet, adorable prints. Their style is more of country and 60's charm. The only disadvantage is the price which is such a pity. One dress can cost up to $80! That is a bit too much for me to spend on a child's clothing...

Gingersnaps

Gingersnaps clothing are mostly a miniature version of what we adults wear. For mums who wants their daughters to wear something similar to their outfit, this is the place to look. Personally, I feel that the clothing here makes my princess look older than her age...but there are nice ones too. Also, the Mary Janes here are very adorable. Bold prints and variety of colours...

Pumpkin Patch

I just love the dresses from Pumpkin Patch. They are sooo cute. There are no kiddy cartoons prints, yet kids look so adorable in them. I also love their Mary Janes. Most of their designs are the layered look and very American. Although some of the materials tend to be quite thick for our tropical climate, there are quite a number which are not too thick. One added feature is at their stores, there is a table which is equipped with crayons and pictures for your kids to colour. Of course, while they are busy colouring, mums are free to go oohhh and aaahhh at the dresses and make payment...

Baby carriers

Both my girls grew up in baby slings, from infant all the way to toddlerhood. It was either a ring sling, a pouch or a wrap. We find these especially convenient when we travel overseas. We need not lug around the strollers. We are also spared the challenge of maneuvering the strollers at crowded places.

Horse-riding at Vivo

Venue: Vivocity

Location: 2nd Floor, next to the water play area

Fee: $6 for 15 minutes

We actually wanted to bring Mia to the water play area but unfortunately, it was being renovated. Then we saw kids riding these animal thingy and Mia wanted to do it too. Mia couldn't make it move as she was not strong enough to step on it so my hubby had to push her....
